The group Jet Fami has been existence for about three years now. It was established under the leadership of the President, Dolce Giovanni, who is also the lead singer in the group. La Jet Fami arrived on the entertainment scene shortly after the arrival of Dolce from Germany. He recruited the six-member group: Dolce Giovanni, #1Stunner, Sincere Tu-Million, Miose De London, Fabio Armani and Peti Mohammed.

The group has already released its first single, ''LE BOUCAN AMERICAN'' from their up coming album BOUCAN AMERICAN due in December. Jet Fami has been cheered by amazing audiences with their talents ever since from Philadelphia to the metro area of Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia.

African Star's entertainment reporter, Samuel "S. Dot Tico" Suah recently held an exclusive interview with the Jet Fami. See excerpts of the interview below:

Reporter: Guys, can you please introduce yourself starting from left to right?

La Jet Fami: Dolce Giovani, Le President and lead singer, Sincere Tu Million, Moses De Londre, Fabio Armani & #1 Stunner.

Reporter: What is La Jet Fami?

Dolce Giovani: First and foremost, I would like to say thanks to Almighty God for giving us the strength and courage to do this interview. To answer your question, La Fami Stand for flamboyant family and to it all started about 3 years ago when I returned to United States from Europe. During my stay in Europe, I met a group of African Musician called La Jet Set Parisian from the Ivory Coast but reside in the France. I was fascinated and intrigued by their style and music. They seem very charismatic and appealing. I decided to establish my own music group after the encounter, and recruit guys that are driven. I finally got the opportunity to pursue that dream, here we are today.

Reporter: What is La Jet Fami style of music and who inspired you?

Sincere Tu Million: Thank you. Our style of music is Decale Coupe mix with our native tribe (Krahn & Kru) of Liberia. Decaler Coupe is a movement that means enjoying yourself, having fun, being flamboyant and flashy. And we got our inspiration from the founder of Decaler Coupe, the late Douk Saga and La Jet Set Parisian. We love their energy and charisma. We are part of so many so many other artists that are trying to revolutionize this movement.

Reporter: How guys react to people who do not understand the style and culture and try to criticize the ways you guys dress especially the way you guys dress in the United States.

Fabio Armani: Thank you, that’s a very good question. Some people don’t understand that this is a European style of dressing wearing tight-fitted clothing. It’s very fashionable. Importantly, if fit well with the music (Coupe Decale Music ) Like Sincere said, we are trying to be flashy and flamboyant people gonna say stuff regardless, it comes with the industry. They just don’t understand the culture especially if they are from United States. No disrespect to people who wear baggy cloths but we think it is time clean your closet, change your wardrobe and switch your style. Join the movement !

Reporter: (smile) I like that. Having said that, let talk about your single and the album. What was it like making this album, any Challenges?

#1Stunner: Thank you. The album coming out this December 22, 2007, and it’s “Boucan American” which means prove your receipt, if you claim you got all these beautiful and finest things in life. we have already shot a video for the single. Fans can see the video on our website: La Jetfami.com (one word), youtube (type La Jet Fami), Liberianmodel.net and Africanstarz.com and Afro Music & Video Connection on woodland avenue in Philadelphia. To answer your question, it was kinda difficult and challenging to make this album, especially the language barrel. we are Liberians trying to portray different culture. It was somehow easy for some but difficult for most. It took about 3 to 6 months to complete this album. Some us grew up in the Ivory Coast and Dolce who lived in France for quite a while, it was easy transition but for most, they had to put in extra work.

Reporter: What was life like before Jet Fami?

Dolce Giovani: (Smile) everyone was pretty much doing their own thing: I was in Europe pursing my soccer career, Sincere was
